BIOLA UNIVERSITY EVENT CENTER

Biola eagerly anticipates their new, 14,400 s.f. multi-purpose facility providing additional basketball and volleyball courts for practice and intramural competition as well as a venue allowing Biola to attract and host larger groups for conventions and seminars.   Tucked up against a landscaped sloped bank, the 32’ tall metal building replaces an existing parking lot and incorporates a generous outdoor space with accessible parking providing enhanced access to the adjacent music facility as well as defining a space for post / pre-event gatherings or catered outdoor meals.  A sinuous low retaining wall ties the site together, wrapping around the courtyard and extending around the Center to the main entry plaza accessed by a curving service ramp and grand stair.
